Daily Prompt: In a Crisis

Honestly evaluate the way you respond to crisis situations. Are you happy with the way you react?

If the crisis is with me I may likely  breakdown. Once I have that out of the way then I’ll do something productive like chat with friends, or change something in my life.

If the crisis is with someone else then I’m probably ready with a list of resources, a shoulder to cry on, an ear to listen and everything that I should probably do with myself first.

  1. I agree! It so much answer to help fin solutions to other peoples conundrums… even if the exact same thing is happening to me I’m often too blinkered to see the woods from the trees!

  2. I am similar, if its with me, I completely breakdown, to what extend depends on the crises. If its another person, I try my best to listen and help. I seem to be able to help others more easily then I can myself.

  3. It’s very weird I’m very tough in a crisis but I’ll get hit with being freaked out about it at a later date.

    • Once you’ve had time to process it I’m assuming. I think I can be the same in some cases. It must be a survival thing? In the moment you have work to do, need to overcome the issue.

  4. I need to compile a list of resources for when friends have problems. For myself, I am blessed to have Le Maitre and la petite who are always there if I am feeling badly frayed. Thank you for what may seem a simple little blog but is vital commonsense for a great many of us
