The Madvocates workshop yesterday went SO WELL!!!!!

What made it amazing was what the audience had to say! We all sat in a circle, a symbol of equality, showing that there is no power deferential between us the presenters and them the audience.

They gave us great feedback! We’re going to take it back to the new Ryerson University Mental Health Task Force that we’re associated with!

Once I started talking I calmed right down! It was a tad intimidating because my partner was there and he’s never seen me work! All he’s ever seen is the process but never the end result! He said it was great and he participated in the discussion also!

I have to go back to the conference today to video tape my friends workshop so I can write more detail later!
